What do you charge for delivery?
Nothing! As long as you are in mainland UK delivery will be free. Customers in the Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man will be charged £49.00 for delivery.
How do I place my order?
You can order online simply by clicking the "Add Item To Cart" button next to the item you wish to purchase (you can always remove the item from your order later) and when you are done shopping click on the "Go To Checkout" button which takes you to our order form. Full payment will be taken at the time of order.

It is vitally important to Allans Furniture that you can give us your personal and payment details over the internet in complete confidence. Our website has an industry standard 128 Bit SSL encrypted checkout to protect private data. You can be sure that your information and your order data is hidden from prying eyes both during and after transactions.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Date Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons, firstly to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not pass your details to other companies and organisations unless you give prior consent. Ever.
What payment methods do you accept ?
We accept PayPal, Master Card, Visa, Maestro, Solo and Visa Electron cards.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. After you order you will receive an order confirmation to the email address you specified.
Can you tell me the availability of a specific item?
Before you select a product to buy online an indication of the current lead time for delivery will have been give on the product page. Please be aware that this information changes daily. Allans Furniture cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. We will inform you as soon as we become aware of any changes in the time original given when you placed your order.
How long will i have to wait for delivery ?
Delivery times vary according to the type of product and the manufacturer. We give an indication of delivery time next to each product description but can vary occasionally. We will always notify you as soon as possible of any delays. Usually when more than one item is ordered all items will be delivered at the same time.
What if i am unable to take delivery of my order when it is ready?
If you are having work done in your home please be aware that building projects are frequently delayed. If you are unable to take delivery of your furniture when it is ready we will store it for you free of charge for a maxumum of 21 days.
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order at any time between the placement of the order and 7 days following delivery of the goods. Should you wish to return your goods for any reason, you must contact our customer service department within 7 days of delivery to arrange collection. This collection will be at your expense. Any money which you have paid will be refunded within 30 days provided that we receive your goods in as new condition and in undamaged original packaging with all accessories and components. A full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and will only be authorised after a full inspection of the goods by ourselves. Any items returned that do not conform to these conditions will be subject to a surcharge or will be retuned to you at your expense.
How do you carry out deliveries?
Large items are transported directly to your home in specially equipped furniture vans and are carried in by trained furniture delivery staff. Smaller items may be delivered by a parcel service.
What if part of my delivery is damaged or missing?
This rarely happens but sometimes furniture sustains minor damage during shipping or contains a manufacturer’s defect. If this occurs you must inform us immediately and we will arrange for the goods to be repaired in your home if possible, alternatively we will arrange to have them returned to the manufacturer. If items need to be returned please keep the original packaging. All returns and repairs must be arranged through our Customer Service Department.
What is the returns policy?
Once you have received your product you have 7 days to decide if you wish to return them. If you decide you do not want the goods you may return them back to our warehouse in Glasgow as long as you have not used them and have returned them back in the original packaging and free of defects. We will happily refund your money minus any shipping costs back to our warehouse. You may deliver the goods back to our warehouse for a full refund or if you would like us to arrange a collection a minimum collection charge of £50 will be deducted from your credit card refund.
For hygene reasons mattresses that have been slept on will not be accepted back unless faulty. Please note this does not apply to items that have been specifically tailored to a customers requirements
Do you have a brochure that you could send me?
In an effort to keep our costs (and therefore our prices) as low as possible, we don't print paper catalogues. Instead, we have an extensive selection of furniture on display here on our website and in our Glasgow showroom.
What warranty to you offer?
All of our products come with a full manufacturer’s warranty. These vary in length but are for a minimum of one year. Further details on manufacturer’s warranties will generally be attached when you get your new furniture. Your statutory rights are not affected.
